WEEK ONE - It has been interesting.  We have painted one spare bedroom Bermuda Grass green.  The back den has also been painted Cincinnatian Hotel Taupe.  We have begun painting the other spare bedroom with the same taupe as the den.  The roof has been replaced this week also.

Now the kitchen has been a whole different ballgame!!!!  The cabinet removal seemed to be the easy part.  As Chris got further into his project, he found the drywall needed to sanded down for us to paint because there was wallpaper paste under the existing paint which gave it an uneven texture.  However, instead of sanding, we decided to tear down the drywall and put up new.  Then we found the real prize, 5 layers of flooring!!!!!  No wonder there was a step up into the kitchen!
