Week Three

The remodeling continues...

Week Two & Three
Weeks two & three were slow weeks.  Chris was sick with the flu and still isn't fully back to par.  However, the renovations had to continue.  The 4 floors that needed to be removed are finally gone along with the hundreds of staples and nails that had to be pulled out.  We were able to hang the drywall so that it could be prepped for painting.  The other spare bedroom was finally painted in the taupe.  The dining was painted with 2 coats in Enchanted Blue.  The next step for the dining room is figuring out the technique for the tone-on-tone striping.  The hardboard siding is being replaced with vinyl siding which was just begun.  Other than that, no more exciting discoveries yet.  It is all really beginning to take shape which is exciting in itself.

The other spare bedroom fully painted in Cinncinatian Hotel Taupe.  Crown-molding coming soon.

The Enchanted Blue dining room. (However, it isn't quite this bright of a blue.)  We will be painting darker stripes for a little different look.

Between the roof and the floor, we certainly had a lot of trash!!!

We see the light and the kitchen taking shape, finally!
